Easter at Tumut

Another cracker of an Easter with a big turnout for the Easter fly-in at Tumut. We got to fly all 4 days with a mix of hill and aerotowing.

The flying was challenging, with light lift and winds coming from the east making it difficult with all the good hill launches facing west.
We made the most of it on the first day jumping off Honnysuckle.
Those of us that could, aerotowing was the go for the next two days. With one flight down to Talbingo, and another with a goal of corryong, which I only made 15ks down the road.

The last day with light winds we headed up to Talbingo launch.

We only get to jump off once a year so it's good to make the most of it. Fantastic scenery from the 4500' launch.

We got front row seats watching three of the guys having fun in front of launch.
Two of the guys made it into the Tumut valley but for the rest of us, 10k to a nice landing area next to the dam was a good way to end off a fun weekend.
